My own twist on the keto raspberry cheesecake from Ditch the Carbs
I used a blend of blueberries and strawberries instead of the raspberries and it turned out amazing! I love that I can indulge my sweet cravings and still be healthy ❤️ Don’t be afraid to add your own touch to recipes…it’s so exciting to see what you can come up with 👩🍳

I found this recipe at Ditch the Carbs for raspberry fingers. I didn’t have any raspberries so I used fresh blueberries instead and it turned out amazing. Made with coconut flour this is also perfect for those avoiding gluten.
For that extra kick of sweetness, top it off with a blast of whipped cream and you’ll be in heaven.
I’ve lost 20lbs since following the keto plan in February of this year. Never hungry and always satisfied, this is not a diet, it is a healthy way of life.
Wow…I thought by my third kid I would be prepared for anything. But this guy had other plans for me! He has gone through every sleep regression in the book and now we are at 12 months.
With two other kids needing sleep for school, the cry method is out the window. This kid has a set of lungs on him…just ask the doctor who circumcised him!
So a mattress on the nursery floor it is for me. He falls asleep so fast but he has a sixth sense knowing when he’s in the crib and then he loses it! I’ll pick him up, settle him, put him back down, pat him, he sleeps for an hour and then repeat. I’m tired…dear heavens, I have never been this tired especially since I work full time too. But I’ll pick my battles. My husband tries to help out during the weekends but when he sees dad instead of me, he freaks out even more! The guys got no boobies for him!
So I’ll take one for the team and at least the rest of the family is getting some rest and hopefully this nightmare will end.

I’m going to be honest, this is not going to taste exactly like a regular cheesecake. But at a fraction of the calories and sugar, this cake is a delicious alternative. I liked it so much, I’m making it again for a dinner party tomorrow.

Started in Toronto (yeah Canada 🇨🇦) it has a product for everyone and every concern. Seriously, there is not enough room in this blog to tell you about everything they carry. Produced sustainably and ethically and sold at incredibly affordable prices (like $7 serums!), there is no wonder this company has a cult following.
My vanity is full of their products. Here are my latest acquisitions and a bit about them. You have to try their products…you’ll never look back.
1. Buffet serum with copper peptides replaces my original buffet serum which I finished. With too many benefits to list, the additional copper helps even out skin tone and minimize blemishes. Love it’s blue color 💙
2. Sanskrit Saponin is a cleanser that works to clear out and minimize your pores without a drying effect. I’ll admit it has a unique smell but nothing that lingers. Acne breakouts have all but disappeared.
3. Rose🌹hip seed oil is well known for its ultra hydrating properties and is now what I use as a moisturizer. No oily feel as your skin just soaks it up.
4. Hand moisturizer with HA to keep your hands young looking and soft. I am obsessed with the smell! I have ordered more to keep in the office and my purse.

On my journey to find more delicious ketogenic recipes, I came across this recipe for Salmon Patties with Avocado Lime Dip on my all time favourite Ditch the Carbs website.
The recipe calls for canned salmon but I used fresh salmon that I cooked before hand. Mixed with a medley of spices and pan fried, this was such a delicious meal. The avocado lime dip was just the perfect touch to top it all up.
You have to try this recipe. Easy, healthy and delicious! The best combination.
So the hardest part of being on a ketogenic food plan is giving up the beloved bread. You don’t realize how much of it you ate until you give it up. But have no fear! There are ways to compensate for the old carb flame.
Meet fathead bagels and Oopsie bread! They are so easy to make, each taking 10 minutes. The recipes are from http://www.ditchthecarbs.com (one of the best keto sites out there) and even though I made them for myself, the entire family devoured them. My kids even asked me to make more for their school lunches…food my kids will eat…MIRACLE! My husband even said that it was the only type of bread that didn’t give him heartburn afterwards.
Check it out and give them a try even if you aren’t on a ketogenic plan. I know you’ll love them ❤️
My kids love their baths. They have so much fun with their toys and products that it’s almost impossible to get them out before they turn into prunes! I want to share some of my favourite bath products:
I’m never sure whether the bath is too hot or cold for my baby. Put the duck in the water and the reading on the underside tells you whether it’s hot or just right. Plus it’s a great toy for him when he gets in!
These bath bombs are the bomb! (Yes, I went there) Available now in Canada, my kids love them and I have peace of mind knowing that they are safe. They are the perfect size for kids and adults and I always have them around for the whole family.
